City of Belleair Bluffs
Project Name: Lentz Road Reconstruction Project
The City of Belleair Bluffs commissioned AED to prepare a Stormwater Management Plan for a major portion of the City. This Stormwater Master Plan made recommendations for roadway and drainage system improvements totaling approximately $2,000,000. This document also served as the basis for our application to the Southwest Florida Water Management District’s Pinellas-Anclote River Basin Board to solicit Cooperative Funding. The success of this application was also due to the initiation of the overall Improvement Project that began with the reconstruction of Lentz Road and the design of a regional stormwater treatment facility. Advanced Engineering & Design, Inc. has recently completed the design and inspection services for this initial project. We will continue to coordinate with SWFWMD as we apply for additional funding over the next several years.
Town of Belleair
Project Name: Poinsettia Road Reconstruction Project
The Town of Belleair commissioned AED to complete the design of the Poinsettia Road reconstruction project and to provide assistance during the Bidding and Construction phases. Subsequently, this project has been completed. Advanced Engineering & Design, Inc. served as the Town’s Project Representative coordinating all of the day-to-day activities, providing full time inspection services and reviewing pay requests. As part of the Town’s Miscellaneous Roadway & Drainage Improvement Project, this approximate 3,300-foot roadway was constructed with full depth asphalt in order to protect the base from a seasonally high groundwater table.
Town of Belleair
Project Name: Palm View Avenue Reconstruction Project
The Town of Belleair commissioned AED to complete the design of the Palm View Avenue roadway reconstruction project. The original roadway had been constructed over large deposits of organic soils and had been deteriorating at an accelerated rate. As part of the Town’s Miscellaneous Roadway & Drainage Improvement Project, this roadway was reconstructed after the unsuitable materials were removed from the project site. Full construction administration services were provided including full time inspection services and material testing.
